Both are great options, but they serve different purposes. Coaching involves developing specific skills, improving performance, and setting action plans to reach a future goal. Coaching is brief (less than 8 sessions) and is very future-oriented. Therapy involves supervised treatment of diagnosed mental health conditions. Therapy takes longer and is more intensive because it involves digging into your past, examining childhood patterns, and healing mental and emotional wounds.
